Mulan Gallery's inception in 1998 was spurred by our director, Patricia Liang's, profound interest and affection for contemporary art. Today we exhibit work influenced by illustration, comic books, surrealist, hyperrealist and pop culture imagery with a penchant for work imbued with socio-political and cultural nuances.
Over the last 3 years, we have successfully organized a number of solo and group exhibitions such as Kei-Mindscape, Ceramic Expressions, On Common Ground and French Kiss, to name a few. Today, Mulan Gallery represents a mix of emerging and mid-career level artists with an emphasis on cultivating and nurturing new talent.
We are committed to upholding a business policy of always acquiring works directly from the artists that we represent – a policy that inspires our confidence in the artists but more importantly, the confidence of individual and corporate collectors who trust the gallery to help build their valued collections.
